Thanksgiving Look: Tutorial

MMMmmm Turkey Day. To create a Thanksgiving look, I thought about the warm colors of.....the turkey. Yes, turkey. Brown, black and gold. Feathers that is. Complete the look with a nice wing to go along with a turkey wing. Eh, let's face it. Coming up with a "turkey" look can go wrong in so many different ways, so let's go simple and focus on the warm colors of the holiday. Goes well with the stuffing, I might add :)

Products Used:
  1. Urban Decay Primer Potion - Original
  2. Too Faced "Natural Eye" Palette - Fashion Trio - Nude Beach, Honey Pot, Cocoa Puff
  3. Bare Minerals Eye Liner - Black Leather - loose powder
  4. Makeup Forever Aqua Eyes Eye Liner - 0L black
  5. Sephora Mascara Lash Extender - Black
Tools Used: Eye:
  1. Eye Shadow Brush - Medium
  2. Eye Shadow Brush - Small
  3. Crease Brush
  4. Smudge Brush
  5. Angle Eye Liner Brush
How to:
  1. Apply eye primer all over lid, from lash line to eyebrow.
  2. Using medium eye shadow brush, apply color "Nude Beach" under brow to the crease.
  3. Using small eye shadow brush, apply color "Honey Pot"  to inner corner of eye to center of eye lid.
  4. Using small eye shadow brush, apply color "Cocoa Puff" to outer corner of eye meeting up with "Honey Pot" and blend up into crease.
  5. Blend crease with crease brush. Reapply colors as needed to create as much depth as you desire.
  6. Wet angle eye liner brush and apply "Black Leather" to top lash line. Extend line to outer corner and wing line. Thicken line as you go out. Takes some practice to do, or you can use a liquid liner or pencil.
  7. Apply "0L" to lower lash line and water line. Smudge with smudge brush.
  8. Apply "Cocoa Puff" to outer 1/3 lower lash line and apply "Honey Pot" to inner corner, meeting the two colors together. Can use smudge brush or small eye shadow brush.
  9. Finish look with 2 coats of mascara on top lashes and one on bottom.
